CALLING ALL FATHERS (and grandfathers, uncles and other father figures) – Please join us for the WatchDOGS Pizza KickOff on Tuesday, October 2nd at 6 pm in the school cafeteria. WatchDOGS invites fathers, grandfathers, uncles, or other father figures to volunteer at least one day all day at school during the school year. WatchDOG volunteers perform a variety of tasks during their volunteer day including monitoring the school entrance, assisting with unloading and loading of buses and cars, monitoring the lunch room, or helping in the classroom with a teacher's guidance by working with small groups of students on homework, flashcards, or spelling.
Come on the 18th and learn more about the WatchDOGS program and sign up to volunteer for a day with your child. Please RSVP at caeswatchdogs@gmail.com. Last minute attendees welcome. If you are unable to attend the KickOff, we still welcome your participation, just email us or contact Mr. Goetz at the school at kgoetz@iwcs.k12.va.us and we will help you get involved.
