New Assistant Principal

Carrollton Elementary is proud to announce the hiring of Mrs. Andrea Novak as the new Assistant Principal!  Mrs. Novak comes to us from Hampton City Schools after eight years as an elementary teacher at both Wythe Elementary and the new Andrews Pre-K-8 school.  While at Andrews, she took on many administrative roles and comes highly recommended by her principal and the executive leadership team in Hampton.

Mrs. Novak grew up in the small Ohio town of East Liverpool, about 45 minutes from Pittsburgh.  As such, she is a BIG Steeler's fan- you might even think that Hines Ward and Mean Joe Greene are family members by walking into her office!  She completed her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education at Edinboro University in Pennsylvania before moving to the Hampton Roads area to begin her teaching career in Hampton. She then later completed her Masters in Educational Leadership at Edinboro.

The Carrollton Elementary community is super excited to welcome Mrs. Novak to our school!  She currently lives in Carrollton and has a three year old son, Hunter, who will be at Carrollton soon.  Mrs. Novak also already started so c'mon by and introduce yourself!
