Friday was a very special day at Carrollton Elementary. Before the early dismissal and the snow arrived, we had students and their WatchDOGS (Dads of Great Students) come for Donuts with Dad.
Students LOVED the opportunity to spend some special time with their father and enjoy some great donuts from O'Doodle Doos.
Don't let this picture fool you...Mr. Hollis had already enjoyed his donut!
Some Dads even turned the meal into a "working breakfast" by reviewing agendas and preparing for the school day.
WatchDOGS is a special program at CAES that encourages fathers or father-figures to volunteer at school. Please email Mr. Goetz at kgoetz@iwcs.k12.va.us if you are interested in "WatchDOGing" at CAES.
A BIG THANK YOU to our Top DOG, Mr. Chris Baker. He singlehandedly coordinated the event...and most importantly got the doughnuts from O Doodle Doos!
