On Tuesday, December 4, one of our very own 2nd grade students, Aidan, participated in a NASA event at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC.. He met an astronaut, Joe Acaba, who recently returned from the International Space Station and previously flew on the Space Shuttle. Astronaut Acaba was also once a teacher of math and science in middle school. We are so proud and excited that Aidan had this once in a lifetime opportunity!
